We are delighted to announce that the Better World Fund Program that is set to unfold during the prestigious Cannes Film Festival on the 15th and 16th of May 2024, will be dedicated to the movement of Women Empowerment. This special edition holds particular significance as we come together to honor China on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between France and China.
The two-day event will be an immersive experience, weaving together art, culture, and philanthropy for a cause that resonates globally. The proceedings of the program will be dedicated to the benefit of the Lang Lang Foundation, a remarkable organization committed to promoting music education and cultural exchange.

Juliette Binoche
Juliette Binoche, a renowned French actress, began her career at a very young age and quickly made a name for herself in international cinema. She won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress and the Silver Bear for Best Actress for her role in „The English Patient”, as well as the César for Best Actress for „Three Colors: Blue”.
Juliette Binoche has appeared in over sixty feature films. She is one of the most awarded actresses in the world – and one of the only ones to have won the acting prize at the major international film festivals: Cannes, Venice and Berlin.
Her talent allows her to explore eclectic roles and genres, from drama to comedy.

Lang Lang
Lang Lang, a piano virtuoso and prodigy, quickly revealed himself a true phenomenon, winning his first competition at the age of five. This was followed by a series of international victories that took him to the world’s greatest stages, including the legendary Carnegie Hall in New York.
With a career filled with dazzling performances alongside the greatest orchestras, Lang Lang has become a true international star. He breaks the stereotypes of classical music with his captivating performances and expressive style. His album „Memory,” covering works from Mozart to Liszt, reached the top of the Billboard classical chart in just three weeks. He has also contributed to the soundtracks of award-winning films.

Joyce Jonathan
French singer-songwriter and performer, she began her musical journey by learning the piano at the age of 5. Quickly gaining popularity, she gathered phenomenal support on My Major Company to finance the production of her first record „Sur mes gardes” in 2010. It was certified platinum a few months after its release. Her unique talent earned her the NRJ Music Award for Francophone Revelation of the Year at just 21 years old.
She also met great success in China, where her albums and tours are sold both in French and Mandarin. She’s a true celebrity there, she’s regularly invited in TV Shows with hundreds millions of viewers.
With five albums to her credit, Joyce continues to surprise and evolve. She releases in january 2024 “Si je mange, je vais en enfer”, a moving title on body positivity. She obtains more than 1 million listeners in only 10 days.

Jingxuan Peng
Peng Jingxuan is a Chinese musician known for playing the guzheng, a traditional Chinese instrument, on the streets of France since 2018.
She gained social media fame through her online performances, amassing a large following on YouTube. Peng began studying guzheng in childhood and continued honing her skills at Universite Michel de Montaigne-Bordeaux 3 in France.
She is passionate about blending Chinese and Western music and aims to promote the guzheng and Chinese culture globally.

Eric Alauzet, French Member of Parliament and eminent advocate of Franco-Chinese diplomatic relations, will honor us with his presence at the Dinner Gala.

Moderated by Guila Clara Kessous, Unesco Artist for Peace
Social entrepreneur and executive coach, she uses theatrical techniques and role-playing games as tools that can not only enhance corporate communication, but help heal those who have suffered from prior trauma, especially women. For her work with humanitarian causes, she has been nominated a “UNESCO Artist for Peace”, notably in link with her work in collaboration with Nobel Peace Prize Winner, Malala Yousafzai, using theatre to help women’s empowerment.
As a certified coach, she has helped more than 500 senior executives (French Tech, CAC 40, Nasdaq 500) in their leadership responsibilities dealing with women’s empowerment and conflict resolution. As an „Officier des Arts et des Lettres”, she has been nominated a „Rising Talent” of the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society for her work in feminist diplomacy.
