FESTIVAL ADMISSION

Entrance Policy

Once you have entered the Festival area, you are not allowed to leave and enter the Festival again during the current day for security reasons. However, you can initially enter the Festival anytime. Please, make sure you haven’t forgotten anything before you decide to enter the Festival.

At the entrance of the festival you must provide an ID and a valid ticket. Underage (younger than 18 years old) must in addition provide 2 copies of the Declaration of accompaniment. The Declaration must be signed by the adult who is accompanying them. The document is available to download at this link HERE.

Festival Wristbands

When you enter the festival for the first time, after you have checked in your ticket, you will receive a Festival Wristband. It is the only way to enter the festival from this moment on.

IMPORTANT! Setting a wristband is mandatory. Entering the festival area by only showing your ticket is not allowed! Once your wristband is on, it CANNOT and must not be granted to another person. You must keep your wristband on until the Festival is finished. The wristbands are made to be durable, moisture resistant and are compact enough not to bother your daily activities.

Do not remove, unlock, cut or glue your wristband. Its position and state will be strictly tracked by the security guards at the Festival area. If a visitor without a wristband was noticed an immediate force out of the Festival area would follow. Any action regarding this will be considered as a fraud attempt.

Any attempt of manipulation or integrity break of the wristband would lead to entry ban!

IMPORTANT NOTICE!

Bringing any alcohol, food or water in a bottle exceeding 0.5l at the Festival area is forbidden!

The import of any dangerous objects, such as sharp umbrellas, cold weapons or firearms is strictly forbidden!

The use of professional cameras or any professional video/photo shooting is forbidden!

The maximal size of bags and purses must not exceed 5l.

Food and Drinks

Please, do not prepare and bring any food from home. The festival area will offer various places where you can quickly get a snack and any alcohol or alcohol-free drinks, including water.
However, you should be informed that there are no drinking water fountains.
Beer, highly alcoholic drinks and refreshing drinks will be offered at all bars, situated at the Festival area. Buying food and drinks must happen via the festival payment cards, which you can get and charge at any Card point.

IMPORTANT: The sale of alcohol drinks and cigarettes to anyone underage is forbidden. We also won’t tolerate buying alcohol drinks or cigarettes from any adult with the purpose of granting them to an underage.

Festival Payment Cards

Payments at the Festival area are possible only using the special Hills of Rock payment cards. There will be several points available where you can pick up and charge your card. The amount of money to charge is up to you but it must not exceed 250 BGN. You can use your card during the whole duration of the event – when paying at a bar, for e.g., the necessary amount of money will be withdrawn. Any payment will be officialized with a receipt which will also give you information about the remaining amount in your card. One card may be used by several visitors.
To charge the card you can pay cash or with a debit/credit card (Mastercard, Maestro and Visa are accepted) An administrative fee of 1 BGN is automatically charged from your balance once your card was activated.
You can get teh unused amount in your payment card anytime or up to 1 hour after the end of the performances on Main Stage.

Festival Restrooms and Toilets

At the Festival area there will be dozens of toilets and public lavatories, located on several spots. Please, use them! Any physiological needs done close to fences, bushes, trees, buildings, etc., are a sign of bad culture.
Once again, please, use the toilets!

Medical Assistance

Protecting your health and the health of others is a personal responsibility. Please, once you enter the festival, get informed about the position of the Doctors’ teams.
First Aid points will be positioned at the Festival Area to decrease accidents. In case of necessity, please turn to the employees with the well-known specific clothing. In case of an urgent need of assistance, please, turn to the closest Festival employee who will assist you.

Accessibility for people with a disability

We’ve made a great effort to make Hills of Rock equally accessible to anyone. Right next to the Festival entrance there will be accessibility options for people with disabilities and for cars carrying disabled persons. If you own such car and have a sticker on it which proves that, please, contact the Festival Organizers for providing access to an area closest to the Entrance.
We have also ensured an alternative entrance so that entering the main entrance is easier. Toilets for people with disabilities will also be available. If you need any additional assistance, do not hesitate to contact us!

Mobile Communications and Networks

When many people gather in one place, mobile careers’ communication cells have a great deal of workload. To ensure flawless communications, mobile careers will build mobile communication points to enhance their networks’ capacity.

Merchandise

At the Festival site will be many different stands where you can find a big variety of souvenirs. Do not buy any goods from street traders outside the festival area, because we do not guarantee their origin and quality.

Info Desk

During the Festival, next to the Main entrance you can find a special Info-desk, where you can get any information related to the event.

CAMPING ON HILLS OF ROCK

For those visitors who want to experience the true festival atmosphere will be built camping area. Everyone who has bought a camping ticket can stay in the immediate vicinity of the festival, deploy a tent and spend three days in great fun, experiencing lifetime moments with their favorite artists. Keep in mind that you can only deploy a tent – campers or camper vans are not allowed!

CAMPING AREA ACCESS

Access to the camping area will be possible from afternoon on June 28 th (before the first stage performance) and until July 1 st morning. Exact schedule will be available in the following weeks.

Camping Tickets

The campsite area is intended only for festival visitors. To stay in the camping area, you must buy a camping ticket as well as a three-day festival ticket. Keep in mind that camping tickets are valid for a person, not for a tent. Everyone who had bought such ticket would have the right to deploy a tent that does not exceed 3×3 meters. Mobile showers and chemical toilets will be available at the campsite. 24/7 security will be provided during the whole period of camping’s operational time.
There are only 3-day camping tickets available. Their price until March 31 st is 40BGN per person. Keep in mind that after April 1 st , the price will be increased to 50BGN per person. You can buy camping tickets HERE

Camping Wristbands

Upon arrival at the festival, you need to provide a valid ticket for the festival and a camping ticket to gain access to the campsite. You will receive a wristband, which will provide your access to the campsite. You will also get an additional wristband for the festival at the entrance when the festival starts.

Valuable Belongings

It is good idea to keep your valuables at home. It is not advisable to leave them in your tent unsupervised. Keep in mind that neither the organizers nor the security staff or the police will take responsibility for possible theft.

NOT allowed at the campsite:

Tents larger than 3 by 3 meters;

,

• Glass, sharp objects, weapons;
• Disposal of waste outside the trash cans;
• Cooking, including lighting a fire, barbeques, etc.;
• Gas bottles and gas hobs;
• Pets and other animals, except for guide dogs;
• Music equipment making too much noise;
• Making a loud noise, causing disturbance to the rest of the campers;
• Commercial activities; it is forbidden to hand out flyers or any other promotional materials, selling food, drinks, drugs, etc.;
• Entering the campsite with motor and electric vehicles, cars, motorcycles, motopeds, etc.
